The Advanced Rapid Prototyping Lab offers a variety of services to help individuals with prototyping needs on campus. The lab is home to several more advanced 3D printing options with a wide range of available material properties, as well as links to other labs with an array of different prototyping technologies. Consultations are available at any stage of a project, and can cover topics such as honing in on the important parameters for your project, considering different prototyping methods (such as casting/molding, traditional machining, etc.), or optimizing your parts for 3D printing.
The lab also provides hands on training and access to 3D scanning, with several 3D scanners available for use. More information about the lab, including consultations requests, order submission for printing, or to schedule a 3D scanning session are available below.
